Most of the morning was spent on the USS Midway.  Amazing aircraft carrier.  Hard to take it all in and we definitely could have spent the entire day and still not seen and heard everything.

By 1 pm we were feeling peckish so wandered over the Seaport Village, a very quaint area of shops and restaurants.

Since it was reasonably close we walked over to check out the gaslamp quarter.  Bars and restaurants one after the other.   I imagine it's really hopping at night!  

One of the most striking things about San Diego is the various stunning building architecture to be seen everywhere.
