When we arrived there was a taxi at the station so we took that to the hotel.   Then Norm had to go downtown to get his fanny pack so I called Uber.  The next day we took the bus in front of the hotel to the transit center then transferred to a trolley to get to the harbor but ended up taking an Uber back to the hotel.

Today we took the bus in front of the hotel again to Old Town and toured around there for about 3 hours.

We wanted to go to Balboa Park but when I asked a taxi the cost he said about $17, Uber said $6-$9 and the bus was $2.20.  No contest.  As it turned out it was very entertaining taking the bus and we had some good laughs.

Balboa Park is amazing and we could have spent an entire day there easily.
