January 23

Looks like we are finally going to San Diego! We were supposed to go mid-December and then the Thomas Fire broke out so we cancelled.  I rescheduled for January 29 and then found out our original housesitters from Toronto couldn't come then so it was rescheduled for January 24.  Whew!  The Montecito mudslide then happened January 9 and the freeway was closed until January 21.  This morning at 3:30 there was an emergency alert of a possible tsunami from the Alaska earthquake of 7.9.  The world is so crazy right now.

Will be picking up Sandra and Wanda from Toronto who are on the train from El Segundo where they have been housesitting for about 6 weeks.
